  • Policy not renewing at this time? Let us call you. Submit your policy expiry dates online here and a licensed insurance broker from Marsh Canada will call you 30-45 days prior to the expiry of your policy to provide you with a quote.

 

When would my new policy begin?

If you are accepted for coverage, your home insurance can start the day after you apply for the coverage over the phone. It can also begin at a date you specify such as your current renewal date. Speak with a licensed insurance broker from Marsh Canada to decide the best time for your new cover to begin. We’ll take care of all your coverage needs.

    You can apply for the Home Insurance program if you are an active Accenture employee. The program is also available to spouses and dependent children. The property to be insured must be in Canada.
  • How do I get a quote?

    Getting a free, no-obligation quote is easy. You can:

    • Call the Your Voluntary Benefits service centre at 1-866-810-9384 Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 7:00 pm ET.
    • Submit your policy expiry dates online here and a licensed insurance broker from Marsh Canada will contact you 30 days prior to the expiry of your policy to provide you with a quote.
  • Why should I buy my home insurance through the Home Insurance program?

    The Accenture Group insurance program offers competitive rates, however as insurance companies employ a variety of coverage options, discounts, and rating factors we cannot guarantee that these rates will be the lowest.

  • What happens to my home insurance if I leave Accenture?

    When you leave or retire from Accenture, your coverage will continue until the time of the policy renewal. At renewal, your Marsh Canada licensed broker can assist you with finding replacement coverage.
  • Can I be turned down?

    Yes, all insurers maintain guidelines that determine eligibility.
  • When would coverage begin?

    In most cases, your home insurance can start the day after you apply for coverage over the phone. It can also begin at a later date designated by you, such as a renewal date. It’s up to you. Just speak with a licensed insurance broker at Marsh Canada and we can help you decide.
  • How would I pay for my coverage?

    The most convenient way is by a Pre-Authorized Chequing (PAC) monthly payment plan… with no service fees.1 However, you also can elect to pay by cheque, credit card, online, or by telephone banking.

  • How do I change the policy?

    Making a change to your policy (such as adding, deleting, or changing coverage) is as easy as a phone call to one of Marsh Canada’s licensed insurance brokers. Call the Home Insurance program service centre toll-free at 1-800-265-2196.
  • How do I file a claim?

    • In an emergency or after-hours contact your insurer directly for immediate assistance. For all claims you can call Marsh Canada at 1-800-265-2196 to speak with a licensed insurance broker who will guide you through the claim reporting process and help you understand the implications of a claim on future insurance.
    • If you have a policy from Novex Insurance Company (Intact Insurance Company in Quebec), call 1-866-464-2424.
    • If you have a policy from Traders General Insurance Company, call 1-866-692-8482.
    • If you experience a loss, always contact your insurance broker or insurance company as soon as possible. Find out whether you’re covered, even if the loss appears minor.
